Blog # 8: The relevance of multimedia to marketing


Multimedia has a very broad meaning but I just simply define it that Multimedia is a combination of text, art, sound, animation and video that is delivered by computer or any electronic devices. That is the simplest definition of Multimedia. Suchlike of multimedia means, marketing also has a wide definition but we can simplify that marketing is an action or business of promoting and selling products or services.

Actually I have difficulty to find out what the relevance of the two because both of the two has a broad meaning but when I go back to our discussion last time about marketing I found that marketing is a selling or promoting products or services that multimedia will help to promote of that products or services. Multimedia is a tool to publish of what products or services you want to promote, so that you can have a seller or consumer to your marketing product.

To have a consumer you’ll need to advertise your product and advertising is not synonymous to marketing but is a form of marketing it is an outbound marketing that helps you to bring your product into public and many people will want to try it and maybe that is the beginning of your income money.

In short Marketing is promoting a products or services and the Multimedia is a tool of marketing products or services.
